The FCDO have advised all but essential travel to Sri Lanka following weeks of unrest in the country which has resulted in the Prime minister resigning.
FCDO updated advice against travel stating “ongoing political and economic instability”.
The fresh advice does not apply to airside transit through Sri Lanka’s main international airport, Bandaranaike.
